Trip to South East Asia

Here are some pics i salvaged from emma's camera before she left that i haven't put up yet.

This is the electricity set up for most places we've been to in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. Safety first!!

Over 8,000 skulls of the people executed at the Killing Fields just out of Phnom Penh.

This is a good picture depicting the different stages of rice paddies, the green is ready to be harvested (by hand!), the brown area is ready to be re-planted. They have an irrigation system of small holes to drain the water from one paddie to the next down the mountain.

This is one of the clothes shops in Hoi An where I spent a fair bit of money getting jackets and shirts made. If only it were like this back home!!

Coral in Nha Trang. Unfortunately the photo hasn't come out properly, but it was beautiful. About 30 different types of fish, including a sea horse, sea slug and parrot fish.

Buffallo working hard in the rice paddies in SAPA. At some stages of our walk we had to step on the edge of these water-filled rice paddies to get to our next village, quite scary as the clay is soft. I admit I fell in, but they are only 1.5m deep maximum, phew.

This photo hasn't come out so good, but it was taken in Nha Trang, where we had Dalat wine (terrible!!) in the middle of the ocean. We were not allowed back on the boat until we had a few rounds of shots.... crazy guide!
